He works in the field of infertility and all methods of assisted reproduction (IVF/ICSI), and in laparoscopic surgery (laparoscopic treatment of endometriosis, excision of fibroids, hysterectomy). His special interests also include management of high risk pregnancies and normal birth after caesarean section (VBAC). He is a member of ESHRE and ASRM.

After graduation, he served two years as a medical officer and then had formal training in General Surgery for two years and in Obstetrics & Gynaecology for 4 years. He received his speciality title from the Ob-Gyn Department, Hippocration University Hospital of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1996. He then worked and received post-specialty education in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, for a total of 4 years, in various centers in the United Kingdom and subsequently in Leuven, Belgium, where he was trained in operative laparoscopy.

He works as an Obstetrician-Gynaecologist in the Interbalkan European Medical Center since 2001, and joined the team of the IVF and Infertility Center in 2002.
